Dr. Morrissey-Patton and her entire team work very hard to stay on top of cutting edge technologies and procedures. Just like most fields, dentistry is constantly changing, and we are finding new technologies and techniques everyday to make your dental experience more comfortable. Our team attends continuing education classes to stay updated on all of these new discoveries so that we may offer them to you. We also have headphones and nitrous oxide sedation (laughing gas) available to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
Some of our general dentistry services include:
- Professional cleanings performed by our highly skilled, certified dental hygienists. The dentist always completes our thorough exams where we will evaluate the health of your teeth and gums. We also check for oral cancer and discuss cosmetic procedures that might interest you.
- Porcelain (tooth colored) crowns, bridges, and veneers custom created for you with your concerns and health in mind.
- Implant restorations, which allow you to replace missing teeth or secure a denture that does not fit well.
- Root canal therapy to treat teeth that have nerve damage. This "dying nerve" can make the tooth sensitive to cold, heat, or pressure (typical “tooth ache” pain). The root canal therapy relieves the pain and eliminates the infection while saving your tooth.
- Extractions (removal of teeth) when required.
